Radio Days 01
Dr. Paul Bearer Gallery
Welcome to the first in the gallery series of posts. We start off today with Dick Bennick’s early days working in radio.
Dr. Paul Bearer Gallery

Greetings Fright Fans,
Welcome to a new series of posts dedicated to the late great Dick Bennick whom we all knew and loved as “Dr. Paul Bearer”. This series is an effort to keep his memory alive in the minds of fans, rekindle the joys of childhood, and maybe even generate some new fans of the (somewhat) disappearing art of the Horror Host.
Please feel free to COMMENT on the photos and add any information you have on them. We have tons of photos to share but little information on some of the situations and places they were taken. Also feel free to share on social media and submit your own photos and stories for the galleries. We also have our group page over at Facebook if you feel more comfortable posting there.
To see a list of all the posts in the series just go to the right side of the page under “CATEGORIES” and click on “Photo Gallery” to see all the posts.
With that said, I’ll be trying to post related photos in each gallery but jumping around in subject matter from post to post to keep things interesting. So now that we’ve got that out of the way… back to our Horrible Old Gallery.
Creature Feature Re-Vamped!
Greetings Fright Fans!
I just wanted to let you know that after (too) many years I’m finally updating the web site. I was trying to keep it looking ‘old school’, but this will be a lot easier to do the occasional update and add some new things. One of the goals is to make it more fan interactive so any suggestions are also welcome.
With that said, please BEAR-er with me as I tinker around with the site.
Thanx again for keeping the memory and spirit of our favorite horror host alive and kicking.
– Roger
