I just fall upon this in the paper today. I'm going try to make it.

Crazyface Constellation Theatre Company’s
Crazyface

Crazyface, goes on a journey of self discovery while trying to escape the angel who lives at his side, demanding his attention while remaining invisible to all others. This dream-like magical world includes clowns, magicians, international spies, a gang of lady bandits, a flying man, the Pope and the secret of life contained in a precious little box. Most members of the ensemble will be asked to play multiple roles in this dark comedy. The adventure raises questions about the nature of the divine, the essence of morality, and the thin line between sanity and madness. _________________

It's great to see people still doing productions of these plays.
Crazyface made me buy the "Thyl Ulenspiegel" book from Charles de Coster, best read in years: fun, epic, couldn't put it down. It's a Belgian Classic. I thoroughly recommend you read it if you come across it. _________________ Hellraiser Gallery: http://www.hellraisergallery.blogspot.com |

I should, shouldn't I. He was a fun little character in this play. I'll have to make a note to seek it out at the library. _________________

Nice image! I found a review for the production here:
www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/05/27/AR2009052703248.html?hpid=artsliving
The reviewer is obviously crazy, though. Who wouldn't want to see a mixture of Monty Python and Hieronymus Bosch?

I'm pretty sure she is talking about us. _________________ "You made your way back here for the same reasons I did. We belong here now. There's nowhere else on earth would take us in." -Narcisse |

Whoops, wish I saw that before hand. No matter we got our tickets for $10 each and it was well worth it. This was fabulous! I wanted to see it again but I had to work all weekend. I was very impressed with the production. I sat next to two students of an actor of a play that I work and in front of me was one of the actress's husband. The husband told me that some fans came from North Carolina for the day to catch the matinee and left right after for home. I wish I could have caught them before they left. I wore this shirt as my flag to other Clive fans. The two girls did not know Clive's work and were more than a little worried when I told them a little of his bio, but I assured them that this was a comedy and that they would love it, and they did! A few times during the play they were audibly distressed, but were able to sustain. The moment I saw the grate on the stage I knew that it was for Lenny. The cast was perfect, they never missed a beat and they had to play several characters. It was almost a full house. Owen Wilson is in town filming a movie and was spotted with bodyguard not far from the theater, I wonder if he went to see it since one of the actors starred in Wedding Crashers with him. The ending was beautiful, I was really moved. Oh, and the music, wow, so wonderful, great job. I wish they'd put this on on video it was sush a fantastic production.
I'm working on scanning the program. I'm using my aunt's computer, I can't figure out these PC's. _________________

That sounds like a helluva good time. Thanks for the review, tzarinna! Yeah, I wish they would put out a Blu-ray or DVD of one of these professional productions so that people out in the boonies could get a good theater experience. _________________ "You made your way back here for the same reasons I did.
